EpochVue helps your team document construction progress from repeatable viewpoints. Here is a quick tour, using a sample project.
Keep projects and clients in one workspace. Each site can have its own visit cadence and independent capture templates.
Plan what should fit in the frame before flight. Adjust altitude, area buffer, image margin, and horizon framing, then inspect the estimate.
For video orbits, choose a subject and a target horizon percentage. Compare altitude and radius options, with speed based on your requested orbit duration.
Export Litchi waypoints from the current locked template. The pilot reviews the imported route and camera settings before every flight.
After upload, metadata suggests which photo belongs to each capture point. The operator checks the image and confirms the assignment.
Compare earlier and current visits side by side. Approve selected comparisons for the report.
Share factual observations and approved photos in a published report. Your team can download a PDF or use an expiring, revocable link.
Explore EpochVue at epochvue dot four tech dot us. Visual documentation, not a survey or engineering assessment.
How it works
A plan shaped around your site
We outline the area to document, then estimate viewpoints using its size, the camera, altitude, and framing margin. The pilot reviews and adjusts the plan for the site.
A flight each visit
The pilot returns to the planned viewpoints. Available photo metadata helps check position, altitude, heading, and camera angle; the operator confirms assignments and records deviations. Reviewed captures can refine the next plan without rewriting earlier visits.
A reviewed record to share
The first visit establishes a visual baseline. Later reports can include approved previous/current comparisons and factual observations. Published versions stay fixed, with a downloadable PDF and a share link that expires and can be revoked.
Plan for the full target area
A wide building needs room in the frame. We draw its outline on the map or import a KML boundary, then choose the camera and framing margin. Suggested viewpoints can sit at different distances on each side, with an adjustable aim point and an estimated framing preview before the plan is saved.
Approximate building height can inform the estimate; without it, the preview covers only the ground footprint. The pilot checks actual framing and site conditions. Camera presets are estimates, and the preview does not account for obstructions or terrain variation.
What you get
A review-ready record for someone who was not on site. Reports bring together the following sections, with comparisons and observations based on the evidence approved for that version.
- Cover and summary
- Site, client, visit date, report version, and an operator-written executive summary.
- Viewpoint diagram
- A schematic of the documented capture positions; not a survey map.
- Previous / current comparisons
- Approved image pairs from the same viewpoint across visits, when earlier captures are available.
- Observations
- Factual notes tied to a viewpoint or site zone: what is visible, not what it means.
- Visit notes and capture review
- Recorded visit details, pilot and weather notes, and capture-review exceptions. Missing metadata stays unknown.
- Client-supplied milestones
- Milestones you provide appear separately from our observations and are not independently verified by 4Tech.
- Limitations
- What the report does and does not cover, printed on every version.
What it costs
Free first visit
The first visit and its report are fully free. No card, no contract, no strings.
Then $300 per site per month
A founding rate, locked for twelve months, only if you want to keep going after the first report. $300 within about 35 miles of Franklin, $375 out to 80 miles; every-other-week visits at 1.75×.
- Service area
- 80 miles around Franklin, TN
- Program size
- Five free sites in the program
What it is not
EpochVue reports are non-certified visual documentation: what was visible from documented viewpoints on the day of the flight. They do not state percent complete, schedule status, compliance, or survey-grade measurements, and they are not an engineer's or inspector's opinion. The pilot keeps full authority over every flight; weather, airspace, and site conditions can change or cancel a visit.

Tell me where the site is and what you need to see. We plan the viewpoints around the target area and review the first visit as the baseline for future reports.
